A BIT ABOUT US
WHO WE ARE
Nestled in the rolling hills of rich western Iowa farmland, this special church has a rich history of sturdy faith-filled workers in its 97 years. The quiet rural setting with its beautiful summers reminds us of our heavenly home ahead. The city cemetery to the east reminds one of the brevity of this life.
We are a group of people learning to trust and follow Jesus together. We exist to make disciples of Jesus because that’s what He explicitly commanded us to do in Scripture. Relationships are the primary means of discipleship in the Bible and in real life.
OUR ROOTS
Our church has been serving this community since 1924!
It has changed a lot since then, but the fervor and care still remain.
We provide a safe place for people everywhere to come and feel loved.
WHERE WE'RE HEADED
Our mission is to tell the world of a friend like Jesus, wanting to show who Jesus is to the Guthrie Center community.
The Bible teaches of His early coming to take us to the heavenly palaces.
Hope for today.
